Partnership in Kenya

Rainedge International has become a partnership ministry of The Timothy Project. Rainedge International is a non-profit community-based organization with offices in Nakuru Kenya. It was founded out of a passion to alleviate poverty – especially among marginalized children, the street children, the vulnerable and those at risk in one way or another within the community.

They say this about their name: “The name Rainedge is to imply the end of a rainy season. In Kenya we depend a lot on rain for food production, and so Rainedge comes in to spearhead the production of a healthy and a working community”

Rainedge International is led by Sammy & Millie Nawali, who have also planted a large and growing church called Crosspoint. The Nawalis have worked closely with the Timothy Project for several years. It is an honour for us to welcome them as partners.

This partnership will give churches connected to the Timothy Project a natural point of contact in East Africa. This will give opportunities for teams and individuals to visit Nakuru. It is also possible to sponsor children and young people in Nakuru in their education, as well as assisting in creating jobs. The partnership also means that our churches in Europe will have easier access to the wisdom and experience of Sammy & Millie and their co-workers. The experience of key people in Rainedge can become a resource for many churches outside Kenya. We believe blessing will flow both ways through this partnership.
